It isn't a Philco, so moved this topic to the appropriate section.

Sorry, I don't know what it is either...but I know what it isn't... Icon_wink

Erg, that emblem under the dial looks very familiar. I almost want to say it's an early Wards Airline radio set, but I'm not totally sure. It is a nice complete looking unit for the price though. The tag is intact on the back, but the picture is too small!

No matter where you go, there you are.

I'm just like Jayce, I've seen that emblem but I just seem to place it. I was thinking maybe a Knight but I too a quick look and didn't see it. Maybe a Lafayette? I don't know.
Sorry OM
Terry

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!

Looks like an Amrad logo to me, and the radio looks very similar to the Symphony that was part of their Bel Canto series from ~1929 or 30. Amrad went belly-up in 1930 so this may be one of their last sets.
