Our earlier 16x uses the same woodwork, but with a different (Standard Bakelite) Escutcheon to accommodate the 5 band dial.

They are quite something. Egyptian influence, certainly, and somewhat stuck between Art Nouveau and Art Deco, in my opinion. That example is in beautiful shape and appears to have the original cloth
