I have been collecting since early June 2012 and here's the damage so far....


5 Philcos
39-117 (works good, needs re-cap, cabinet 85%, buttons and knobs 100%)
18X (works good, shadow meter inop, minor other stuff, cabinet fully restored, first "old" radio and first Philco)
39-40 (works, needs re-cap & other minor work, missing push buttons, cabinet 90%)
38-12 (inop, needs coil re-wound and ???, cabinet re-finished)
Model 90 Cathedral (cabinet restored ..chassis inop, in progress)
Additional sets as of 15 Apr 2013:
42-380 (just finished cabinet..chassis in work)
39-25 (inop)

Also the 39-12 has been completed - nice working little set.



Others
Coronado 6953 32v tombstone (re-capped and working, cabinet 80%)
Silvertone 4587 (bought fully restored)
Zenith G503 flip front (works good, needs 4 more caps, case fair to good)
GE model 114 (works, needs a re-cap, case perfect)
RCA 6-XD-5 (inop, just buzzes, case 90%, was given to me)
Also new as of 15 Apr 2013:
Zenith 8-S-432 (inop)
Zenith 6-D-030 (works .. needs re-cap)

I have settled on the pre-war wooden sets, mainly Philcos, as my area of collecting. The plastic ones just don't do it for me. I'll probably have to get at least one Zenith console.
