Thanks for the info. I will probably have to keep an eye out for a junker set. I just ordered the glass yesterday. Fortunately the dial is in great shape and does not need replacing

Thanks on the info on the 40-185! The set is playing good, however i need to check the internal antenna as i cannot get any shortwave stations at all. will have to work on that later today or this week as time permits.
