What model is this Philco Transitone?
#16

Icon_confused Well, having recapped the entire radio, replaced three of the five tubes (the other two glowed a little so I figured they were still good) and replaced some of the wiring, all I get now is a constant low hum that is unaffected by turning either the volume or dial controls. I suspect that some of the resistors need replacement, but I don't see much written about replacing the resistors in vintage radios. What would be the symptoms of a radio with bad resistors?
