Record player console help
#1

Hello everyone. I was referred here by a member of the audiokarma forums telling me that you guys might be able to help me even though my issue is not with a radio.

Here is my problem. I recently got a Philco K-1632 record player console and I have been trying to restore it. I've gotten everything done (well cleaned and most of the issues corrected) but I have run into a stopping point. The 4" Tweeter (part # 36-1673-19) has has one of the pig tails pulled out of the cone and the terminal has been broken in half. I've spent days trying to find a direct replacement with no luck. So I decided to go the replacement route but I don't have any spec information for the amp. I don't know ohms, watts, speaker range or anything.

I've already bought 2 downloadable schematic sheets hoping that somewhere in them it would list any information but it was just the electrical schematics. So all I know is what people on the AK forum have told me. The amp is probably 4-10 watts and it needs high efficiency speakers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Either in specs or where to find replacements would be awesome. I saved this console from a scrapper and I want to see it working correctly again.

If I put this post in the wrong place I apologize. This looked like the most correct area.
