Zenith 6-S-321 - What Type of Wood is This?

I think that the burl that is being mimicked also could have been an olive burl, the striped stuff could be a copy of Sapele or ribbon mahogany veneer, or quarter sawn French walnut. But with a faux finish some creative license may have been taken on colour and pattern. If it were my set I would try touching it up since it does not look to be in bad shape.
