I'm going to throw a curveball in this thread, just something a little different, but definitely radio related. Enjoy Icon_biggrin

I have a Eico model 324 and it has a light in it .,. I thought all of them have lights in them.. If you have one maybe the bulb is burnt out.

My favourite dial is also quite plain... I just love how it looks.  1935 Philips (NZ) P516

And my favourite coloured dial.  1936 Airline 62-316.  I just wish they'd thought harder about the shadow plate for the band indicator - its a round metal disc so half the band names are not (ever) illuminated.

And the most frustrating dial I've restored - a Courtenay model 95 DW.  The dial was toast from UV or age, not sure which.  I began recreating it by hand, pixel by pixel over a scan of what was left... and eventually taught myself some tricks along the way... 2 years later, I had a passable impersonation.

Wow Steve, that is awesome! It amazes me when one makes something from nothing! Looks super! Icon_thumbup

This dial is from my latest console, A Marconi model 85. It is 9 1/2 inches across. I had to make a new dial cover for it out of plastic.

This is a Deforest Crosley model 10-60, Cannaught.
It has no dial, just a moving light that travels around. In  short wave , another light of a different color moves
around.

Here is the lit up dial of my 1933 Zenith 617. The shadowmeter is there, just not closed very far.
