Ok, in this one it is #37.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

The big wirewound resistor checks out.

So what did the result of post 10 turn out??

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.

Now I think I've got!

Radio off, volume at max, I read about 10 ohms from antenna clip to chassis......
#21

....My socket voltages are close, except for the 2nd Detector. My plate voltage and screen grid voltages are about double what the printout states.
#22

Well sounds like the ant coil is ok. As for the hv on the detector tube could be a high cathode resistor #24  51k or a weak 24A tube in that circuit.
