Ham Radios
#1

I'm sure there are some ham radio operators here On the Phorum. Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent but not expensive handheld ham radio transmitter/receiver? My stepfather has a big setup, but due to his age and health issues, needs something small and simple. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Have hear these are pretty good and you can't beat the price. Setting up the memories is tricky so you may have to help out.

I have to agree with that. You can't beat Baofeng for analog FM. Use CHIRP to program them, it's free.
