Nothing on front.. going back to antique store today..

I was told on other forum they think its a 1946 R.A.P. 646 made in London .. But will not know until I look at back to see if it has any markings..

Oh I thought you were looking for someone to translate some unknown words or phrases to English. Not if the set was from the UK or not.
You might check in over here:  https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/  UK radio forum like ARF.
If the store is a little flexible on the price I'd grab it. Ktown is coming up, sell a few things you don't like as much and it's free.

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!

It looks very similar to this RAP 646, except for the knob colour.

A vey interesting set, and a manufacturer I had not heard of. Good find!

I don't hold with furniture that talks.
