Schematic for a 14B - Never mind
#1

Does anybody have a clear schematic for a 14B?

It's done.

Thanks

I'll bet Chuck does. I need to get one too. The one on NA really bad. From the looks of it it ought to be a great playing set. One rf amp, two if amps, and three stages of audio... Plus a shadowgraph. I've got the 14 modern version.

I'm about 3/4 of the way through this one now. by the time I find a ledgable schematic, I won't need it. I'll let you know in the morning how well it works.

Interesting that a lot of the dogbone resistors in this one seem to have drifted down rather than up, or they were lower to start with and did not drift (much).

Yes, a 42 driving 2 more in PP. Should be loud, anyway.

Yes, Phlogiston, I have an original Model 14 Service Bulletin No. 176, in my archives,
and all published Production Change Notes from Philco. Shadow Meter info as well.

Chuck

Thanks guys, but it is all done, just takes a couple of hrs longer without a good schematic. It is hard to tell which contacts are used in the Bakelite caps without one.

It is a very nice radio. Picked up lots of stations with only a 18" antenna.
