Philco 70 Knobs

I don't know how well you can see it but one has a small notch cut out in the base of the cone and the other doesn't. I always thought the notch would have been an indicator because it is positioned at the top of the knob when they are in the off/low volume position. Springs and spring hole are identical. It looks like one is larger in the photo but they are identical in size.
