Philco PT-25 Pilot Lamp Bub
#1

Hey there!  Can anyone tell me what bulb I need to replace the pilot light that illuminates the dial on my newly acquired PT-25?

Also, I am very new to this hobby and was wondering if the yellowing of the dial cover is normal or would it be wise to replace it.  It's looks to be pretty clean but I think it has yellowed with age.  However, all the pics I see of this radio appear to show it with the yellowing.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!!!

Cheers!

Welcome to the Phorum!!! Those dial covers did tend to yellow with age but you can get a replacement from several sources. I've bought from Mark Palmquist in the past.

Not sure about the pilot lamp but someone here will know.

John,
I believe the pilot lamp should be a #47.

You could have cleaned the dial cover. They do become much cleaner with cleaner degreaser.
