Philco Screws for Grille Cloth Plate on Cathedrals
#1

Does anyone know if there is a source for the decorative screws that hold the grille cloth plate in place on the 1930s Philco Cathedrals (Model 19, Model 89, Model 80, etc). They all use these same screws. The head is sort of dark brown, and looks a bit like a rosette.

I am referring to the screws that are exposed to the outside front of the radio.

Thanks,

Mark

EDIT: Aw! I think I put the in the wrong forum. Sorry!

I just talked to Mark Oppat, and he says that he has the screws.

Our own Steve Davis makes those screws, and as with everything he makes, he does a fine job indeed. Icon_thumbup Icon_thumbup

Amazing the radio parts you can find new. Kind of like the parts for my 72 MGB I just got back on the road last summer.
