#1

Hello and thanks for adding me to this forum! Does anyone have a dial string diagram for Philco 19-128 console radio? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

There is no such model, that sounds like a part number for as paper label, not a model number. There is a Philco model 19, but no Philco 128 that I am aware of, an RCA-Victor model 128 but not a Philco 128.

Welcome, Jeff. I would suggest that you go to the gallery: Philcoradio.Com and see if you can locate it. There you'll find the correct model #.

Hello, it looks like it's the model 19H, according to your Philco gallery. I just went by what the sticker said on the chassis. I don't think I can insert a picture to this forum, since I can't access photobucket, flicker, etc from work here. thanks a lot!

Yes, Virginia, there is a Model 19 Code 128...look here:

http://www.philcoradio.com/tech/19evol.htm

Scroll to the bottom of the page for the 19-128 schematic.

The 19 Code 128 is made differently from all of the other 19 variations. It uses little boards with tubular capacitors and resistors attached to it instead of several Bakelite blocks (although it still has a few Bakelite blocks). Its power transformer puts out a higher B+ voltage which results in the radio having an output power of 5 watts instead of 3 as in the earlier versions. Excellent radio. Wish I still had one.

Note that there is an error in the 19-128 schematic posted in that link: it gives the field coil resistance as 1140 ohms when the actual resistance is 660 ohms for Code 128 only.

But getting back to the OP's original question...I'm afraid I do not have a dial stringing diagram, sorry!
