Hey folks. I have a GE Radio Phonograph Combination 118, which has a few issues.
-Humming noise comes on after 5-6 seconds of being powered on. The volume control was not making any changes; it just kept getting louder.
-The turntable is not spinning. I'm guessing it is missing a belt, and I see something else that seems to be broken, which I'm not able to identify yet. Would this work? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08736RZ9V
I've uploaded a few photos and PDF files, hoping to find the right way to do this. I've previously done a small repair on a Bose radio. I also have the schematics, but I didn't get everything yet, I think. It is a limited download amount. The schematics I'm using are from https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/general_el..._id=2#data .
I'd like to confirm whether I should replace these.
[*]-Filter electrolytics bad
[*]-Power supply
[*]-Leaky paper caps
-(Above I've yet to ID on the schematic)
-Item #47 - GE Part # RTO-038 (This is on the schematic)
Any other suggestions/comments are welcome. Thank you!
